Mining company Petra Diamonds to find a special stone white diamond in the Cullinan mine, northeast of Pretoria, South Africa, in late September 2009. Findings, disclosed recently.

This 507.55-carat diamond worth, weighing approximately 100 grams. Shaped like a spear and large eyes like a chicken egg.

The new diamond discovered

Parties Petra reveals, this diamond is one of 20 best-quality diamonds and the largest ever found in this world. Color and clarity is very high level, an extraordinary thing for diamonds that have not been processed! The price is estimated at 20 million U.S. dollars or equivalent to Rp190 billion.

Mentioned, diamond experts are still analyzing it to determine the most appropriate value.

Just to know, Cullinan diamond mines known to always produce high-quality diamonds. One is the world's largest diamond: Cullinan diamond, found in January 1905. Carat value is 3106.75 and weighed 621.35 grams.
